Monica E. Wagner, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Monica E. Wagner, M.D., F.A.A.P. is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. After high school, she attended Duke University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a certificate in the
Neurosciences. Afterwards, she returned home to attend St. Louis University School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatric Residency training at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN.
After residency, Dr. Wagner moved to Denver, CO and worked for Denver Children’s Hospital in a community based emergency care setting for several years before moving to Franklin, TN. She enjoyed working as a primary care physician in a private practice setting there until she and her family moved to Arizona in 2007. Prior to joining Camelback Pediatrics in 2016, Dr. Wagner practiced in the East Valley for nine years.
Dr. Wagner currently lives in South Tempe and is the proud parent of four amazing children who were all born in different states. Her oldest son graduated from ASU and is planning on attending medical school. One of her daughters is studying biology at Duke University and her other daughter attends Tufts University and is involved in music and theater. Her youngest son is an avid soccer player, which keeps them both busy with practices, games and tournaments. In her spare time, Dr. Wagner enjoys
swimming in the ocean, mountain biking in Sedona, and skiing in Colorado, but most of all spending time with her children.
