Monica E. Nania, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Monica Nania (Na-Nee-Ah) is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a certificate in the Neurosciences. She went on to attend St. Louis University School of Medicine, and then completed her Pediatric Residency at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, IN. She worked for Denver Children’s Hospital in a community based emergency care setting when she finished her Residency.
For five years, Dr. Nania enjoyed working as a primary care physician in a private practice setting south of Nashville, TN and has practiced for nine years in the East Valley prior to joining Camelback Pediatrics.
Dr. Nania currently lives in Tempe, AZ and is a proud parent of four amazing children, who were all born in different states. In her spare time, she enjoys attending her children’s soccer, basketball, volleyball and football games as well as their school plays and musical performances. She is an active member of the East Valley Chapter of National Charity League. She enjoys swimming in the ocean, mountain biking in Sedona, and taking nightly walks with her family and three dogs.
