Are You Expecting?

It Is Our Privilege To Care For Your Family

Starting a family or welcoming another child into your family is a wonderful experience and truly a gift. Along with the beauty and joy of pregnancy, delivery and coming home, there will be times when you have questions about caring for your baby.

We are here for you and your family.

We consider this a great privilege to join in the care of your family. It is also quite fun! Watching your baby grow and develop into a young adult is one is one of the joys of being a pediatrician.

We would like to see your newborn soon after discharge. Most of the time, this will be 2 days after hospital discharge, but occasionally the doctors will recommend a visit the day after discharge. Please call us as soon as you know you're headed home so we can arrange this appointment.

The hospital will provide paper work that has very important information about your baby's first few days of life. Please remember to bring these papers with you at the first visit.

Helpful tips:

  • If you are like most of our parents, you will need an extra 30 minutes getting out of the house on your first visit.
  • Place the hospital discharge papers in your diaper bag now.
  • Please contact your insurance company and add your newborn to your insurance policy. This will greatly speed up the registration process at office. While most insurance companies allow you 30-days to add your new baby, adding your baby early will help avoid any out-of-pocket expenses.
